In May 2018 Domenic Aquilina was again judged and awarded with the prestigious “Sports Photographer of the Year 2018” award at the 28th edition of the Malta Journalism Awards night held at The Palace in Sliema.
Aquilina’s three images “Cristiano”, “Goal!” and “WaterTower” landed the coveted award for the third time for Domenic – the others won in 2014 and 2017.
